If I decided to get motordyne plenum spacer, which one would be good for me?

I'm living in the bay area, but I always go snowboarding during season. If I decided to use the spacers, would Motordyne 5/16 Iso Thermal Plenum Spacer (for driving in sub-freezing climates) be good enough? Or should I get the copper (for cold weather) one? Or even I should simply just get the basic one? Also, what size is better, 1/2 or 5/16? Sorry to create another post which is kinda similar to the previous one I post.

If you don't mind paying a bit more, copper iso thermal is nice since you don't have to worry about it. Iso-thermal on its own you just have to turn a little lever. I tend to forget about it though. I know some upper plenums actually remove that hose, so it's probably not a huge deal unless you're in very cold temps. You could also run the basic, and probably not see too much of a performance loss.

In general 1/2" is viewed as best high end power, while 5/16" is most consistent gain "under the curve". Motordyne has dyno charts on there site.

Do u go to snow tho? :)

Even tho I sometimes go to snow and it's around 0F degree, it still ok to get the basic one, right?

Basic doesn't bring up the issue of cold weather, because you still have the hose going to the TB to warm it up.

Sounds good!! I'll probably just go for the basic 5/16" then. But do you mind to tell me more about why people worry about that since I wanna learn more about our FX. Thanks StuLax

Check out their FAQ: http://motordyneusa.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=7&Itemid=17

There is a question in there about the CCV, which comes with the iso-thermal and is a valve you open and close to heat the TB as needed, and also about if you should use copper, iso, or basic kinda.

It's early for me because I got up an hour ago for bay to breakers. For everyone else I would assume its just late haha.

I went two years ago and actually ran the first mile for fun. I really wanted to bring my bike this year and urban DH it but I imagine that might end badly.

Im not a fan of the waking up early part.
