hi guys.. new to the fx scene but not to infiniti.. traded my modded g35 coupe for an fx35.. had the g for 6 years and got sick and tired of every kid wanting to race every time i go to work and go home.. i've had lexus IS's, Bmw's, other g35's and even porches and 'vettes trying to coax me to race them.. before i finally traded my car, a mustang cobra wanted to go at it on the freeway, kept pacing me, speeds up and then slow down.. my biggest mistake (aside from selling my g) is that i didn't take off all the aftermarket parts on it.. plenum spacers, cai, strut bar, 20's, upgraded headlights and tails, wheel spacers etc.. most of it i could have transferred to the fx.. anyway, first mod i did after a week with the fx was i installed a stiilen intake yesterday.. let the "modding" begin.. :tongue (2):

You are like many of us here. I also had a couple of G35s before the FX. I've never regretted the switch.
 
Welcome to :iS2: Looks like you'll fit right in here. The FX is a more subdued car compared to the G, but still has to satisfy the mod bug.

putting in plenum spacers later.. future mods will be coilovers, 20's, exhaust, among other things
 
Welcome to IS! Transitioning from a G to an FX is seamless, I say. You are all about mods already, so yes, let it begin! :top:
 
almost a week of owning the fx and i just finished installing my plenum spacer today and stillen intake last night.. need more $$$$ for more mods.. coilover next or maybe just springs.. don't need to be that low.. :tongue (2):
 
Did you use regular torque wrench or digital on the plenum spacer install?
