What's up guys ok from time to time my rpm drops...and i get a very slight shake it does it more when i have my lights on and only when i roll to a complete stop

I know our throttle bodies are recommended to be cleaned every 30,000 miles, but haven't heard anything about fuel system cleaning...Ian, do our FXs need new fuel filters and possibly something else?

typically under $100, but mine does it for something like $130, but they hook it up to this machine that does it all under pressure, but does much more than just throttle body...all the injectors, etc.
 
I've never had it done, and recently I've noticed my fx becoming a little more sluggish. I'm hoping this would restore some power.

My buddy has near 90k miles and just replaced his timing belt and said his car is 2000% more power....he actually squealing leaving the dealership. Over time that is how much power he lost and the timing belt was all due to this.

Do we have a similar issue potentially to replace this? If so, that could be something else.
 
O yea , I haven't replace any of my belts since about 50k and now have 83,xxx. The response and acceleration is way slower from when I first got it. I'd due for an oil change so maybe will do everything all together but fear theyll rip me on the cost. Should I just take it to a repair shop and buy the timing belt myself?

Its funny cause it started doing this after i put my yellow hid on my fogs i was thinking battery or something

Fx has timing belt ot chain? ?? And when are you spoke to chain the timing belt..what miles
 
Our cars have belts. Change every
60,000 miles. I haven't heard of anyone doing a chain replacent yet.

I can't remember for sure. I know a guy with a G who did cams. He may have just ran into issues putting the chain back on, and not replacing it.

There's something in the back of my head, but I'm not certain. You would think there has to be someone out there who replaced one though, just based on sheer volume of the engine.
 
Im thinking of getting mine cleaned too, angel u went to dealer? Or we could go to performance shop as well?
