I'm going to be purchasing an 1st gen FX very soon. I've been through hundreds of threads on this site over the past week. I gotta give IS much respect. This site is the AWESOME!!! Loads of info. I've seen pics of members rides with halos and they look sick but i want to know the pros and cons of halos. I also want the cost and best company. I'd appreciate the help guys. Just for the record i did read other threads, but i couldn't find any that listed the cost. :questionmark:

Extremedesignz LED Angel Eyes are the best, many members can confirm that, including myself.
You can PM Marus for further details.

Seems like there are a lot of happy customers of Marus' here. The only cons I can think of is that if you don't seal the headlights properly when reassembling there can be condensation build up inside the housing down the line. Also some of the ballasts in the cheaper ebay versions have failed when they have gotten wet in the rain/carwashes.

If you're a fan of the aesthetics then by all means, go for it when you get your fx and post pics for us all to see.

Welcome!

Yeah, its all aesthetics with regards to the angel eyes but they are very striking. You can trade in your OE assemblies, keep your bulbs and ballasts then add $350-500 depending on who does the work. Marek Walas of extremedesignz does amazing work. He was on leave for awhile, now I think he is just busy. If you can afford the mod it makes a big difference in the look of the FX. BTW - Welcome to the forum!

Thanx for the info. How to I pm Marus? I gotta have them. Logan and Zebra your avatars are my inspiration. I wish I can have halos as soon as I leave the the dealership. I'm so jeaslous right now. :fight:LOL

I've never been a fan, I've seen some really bad results - mold growing inside of the cover, or dust specks inside. Its kinda played out IMO. When Civics and Scions start to do it - it raises a red flag lol

Lol. I feel you but an FX is far from a civic. They look mean. Most of the time I ride w just the fogs and halos on my 5 series.

So I'm getting ready to buy halos as well, I really wanted to get them from angel eyes. But I'm debating if ccfl are better if some has some insight on this please share your thoughts.

CCFL will probably burn out on you every 6 month or so. Go with LEDs halos, they are pretty reliable. Many members run them here as DTRL for 2 years with no issues whatsoever...

I've used marus' lights before and there very nice, great quality, very decent fit, what I would recommend really.

I've also done a set of the umnitza lightwurkz ones from ebay and honestly they look a little more finished and all especially when there off because they have a clear cover over the leds, so instead of seeing many small leds you just see a real ring that looks much more like the rings of the bmw's, BUT and this is a big BUT, the plastic housing they use makes the rings too big to really fit in the damn headlight and the rings will contact the headlight lens, causing spider cracks in the lens at this contact point once you fully assemble the light... I ruined a set of lenses finding this out the hard way, to use them you MUST make spacers to space the bezel back, away from the lens... really sucks that they give you no indication of this, sucks to have to eat a set of headlights just to correct this, hope this might help someone else from making the same mistake...

yes and I ruined one set of lenses in the process... we tried to get marus but he wasn't available, then tried to order from kosso but he had nothing available at the time... like I said they do look very nice, probably the best looking out of all of them but the fitment leaves a lot to be desired because there just too thick for this application without a work around

Fml, I really wanted these.. hassle-free. What did you use to space between the rings and the lens?
