Picked it up from Lowes, on sale for $2.50 for a 4 pack. Wanted to share my experience with you all...

EXCELLENT for cleaning my FX's willow interior. All the vinyl pieces have black marks on them from people stepping on when getting in/out of the car. 3-4 passes with the magic eraser and they are all gone! Another thread said that they work well on the speaker covers also but I have not tried it out there yet. Additionally my willow seats were a bit dirty from lugging tires around without laying down any protection. The magic eraser took out all the marks left from the tires too.

I tested it a bit on the driver's seat and it seems to work well. Not sure if it is safe for leather though. In the pic below, the area circled in red was cleaned with the eraser. Can anyone chime in on this area?

Hope this helps! :iS:

Your lucky you have a light interior. My neighbor did this on his 2011 QX with graphite interior and it turned the plastic white and ruined the surface on the plastic kickplates. Didn't use it too hard and never used any harsh chemical. Had to turn around and spend $120 to replace them :thumpdown.:

Ok to use on a light interior but on dark interiors it fades the plastic/vinyl.

Good info Pat, I have never tried these. I think I'll pick some up

No problem. One thing though - dont use too much pressure, just lightly buff and let the eraser do the work. Test spot first of course to ensure that it is friendly to your interior's color

Ouch! I used it exclusively on the vinyl pieces and the back of the seats. I did a tiny bit of the driver's seat as a test but still hesitant to use it on the rest of the leather seat. According to the mrclean site though, it is safe on leather (http://www.mrclean.com/en_US/house-cleaning-tips.do). Of course make sure you condition your leather if you choose to use the magic eraser on them...

I've used the magic erasures on a variety of surfaces with some success. For them to work obviously they have to abrade. One thing I did clean with them was the white semi gloss baseboard trim in my house. One day with then sun hitting them just right i noticed where I had scrubbed there were flat marks. No sanding pattern just a smooth round area where I had scrubbed off the ocassional sole mark. Not saying its not a great product but warning that it is abrasive on some level.

I have used this to clean shoe marks on my brick colored FX speaker grills on the front door panel with great success.

This is good to know. I was concerned about it bleaching or discoloring the brick color on the speaker grills. I have used the Magic Eraser all around the house with great success, especially on the walls!

Nice review, Pman! I too have used it around the house with great success. I did the speaker covers in the FX a while ago and seems like I need to do it again as I've added new scuffs. Time to pick up a brick or two of these.

I'm not sure why you guys aren't using Folex. It's not abrasive at all as you use a microfiber towel and yesterday I removed all the dirt from the seatbelt mechanism inside the car. The interior in spotless and it's all because of Folex that Aaron recommended to me 1.5 years ago.

+1 on folex, been using it for awhile now and its a great product. Really eats away those stains in the carpet and such. However I wasn't able to use it to remove the scuff marks on the plastic kick plates, so needed something more abrasive like the magic eraser. Folex is definitely a great product though and I would start with that before moving onto anything more abrasive if needed.

If you don't want to wait for shipping stores like home depot sell it too in their cleaning supplies section.
