Doors Not Staying Open

doors don't stay open

I just bought an 04 FX35 and it's in very good condition but one thing that is already starting to annoy me is the fact that the doors (all 4) don't really stay open without you having to hold them open, unless you're on a perfectly flat surface and gentle with them. It doesn't help that my driveway is uphill so every time I'm trying to get out the door slams onto me.

I actually haven't looked at it up close but I'm on my computer right now and thought I might as well register here and ask you guys to see if anyone has encountered the same type of problem and how they went about it.

I just bought my 03 fx45. I had the same problem so I contacted the dealer bought the door check ($40) and unfortunately they're just made that way I guess. There weak. Had to remove door panel and the speaker and go in through the speaker to pull the part out.
