Well ...... I do have pictures of my new FX on my " introductory " thread in the newbie section of IS :smile (2): but I figured I'd start a thread here in the 09' section showing off my ride and whatnot MODS I'll be doing. I can update this thread instead of the " newbie " one since it'll be more beneficial for anyone browsing at my 2nd Gen FX :smile (2):

The day I picked up my 2012 FX / Graphite Shadow and Graphite Interior w/ Premium Package !!



After I had coated my ride with Zaino :smile (2):

Nice! Start out with the IS sticker and keep this thread updated with your mod progression. Soon is right, you can have a mod combine this thread into a garage once its up. :top:
 
There's a lot of Zaino fanatics that would apply the million steps that may or may not be needed but I honestly can't do all those steps YIKEESS !! After giving the FX a nice wash and drying I basically applied the All in One then topped it off with it's Z-CS or Clear Seal ! In between washings I would use it's quick detailer or Z-6 and for those special occasions when I really want the ride to have that extra " bling " I use their Z-8 :smile (2): !!

As hard as I try to stay away from IS ummmmmm it hasn't been easy :eek.: I'm sooo tempted to do several " mods " already ............ gotta wait for the tax return but the list is grooowing :smile (2):

Well ........ I often use a " detailer " to keep it somewhat clean so it doesn't get too , too dirty thus less work :smile (2): Thank you ......... I like being ummmmm " frsh and clean " :wink (2):
 
because of the format of the garage and the form being different we really can't just move this to a garage, really would be best when you get a chance to click the garage link and start a garage.

Maybe Jeff has the ability to do it? I started out as a pic thread too and I had Jeff combine it into my garage a year ago.

The main portion of the garage would need to be created by the member since more info and pictures are needed. If posts are created after the garage is created, we would be able to merge the posts into the members garage. If these posts are created before the garage, I would have to get into the posts and change the dates of them to merge them. So it would be easier if the garage was made prior to these posts.
 
I'm soooo excited !! I've always liked the " jdm " look with the yellow fogs so I just got these applied on my foglights and I think they look soooo coool IMHO :wink (2):

Hmmmm .............. thank you for your help !! Hopefully I can work on the garage soon but if not I guess I'll just keep this picture thread here ??!! Thank you again !!

Aero :smile (2): I noticed on another thread you mentioned that you were using Morimotos for your low beam bulbs !? I want to go a bit higher than the OEM 4300K...... perhaps 5000k so would you be able to share where you got your bulbs from ?? TIA !
 
I like the Morimoto 6000K bulbs a lot. Ever since I upgraded to the clear lens, I love the look even more, wow what a difference. Here is the Mori thread:

It's a little cheaper to get them from them on their eBay store too. The shipping is more on eBay, but you can make an offer a few dollars less than the website and you end up saving like $3.
 
I have been using garax 6000k on all my cars. They are made in Japan and are awesome. I found out about these bulbs on the Lexus IS forums and had them installed on my IS years back and ever since then I been buying garax. A lot of Lexus owners I noticed have these bulbs and believe me they are worth the $
