Beep after backing up

2004 FX35 AWD
I have a 2004 FX35. with tech package. I have no backup sensors but do have a backup camera.
When I backup and just before I shift to Drive, I hear a beep,beep tone. I asked infiniti tech and customer service they both said they do not know. Does anyone know what it means? p.s. it does not beep everytime I backup. Please help, I'm clueless.

This has popped up before and some said it was a warning due to not coming to a full stop before putting it into Drive. Not sure if a consensus was every reached or agreed upon.
 
Seems like you have an aftermarket beeper device installed. I haven't hear of any reverse audibles in my 06 tech pkg.

Is the beeping sound from the engine compartment or the rear bumper?

Possible, it could be the rub from the rear parking brake or rusty rotors/pads/clips causing the noise.

The only time I have ever heard of any type of beeping is when you are driving and the door is not fully closed. Sometimes I drive in reverse with the door open for a short distance and it beeps right away. Maybe its just a simple door ajar warning?
 
I have an '07 with Tech package and never had this beep. I do noticed though that four points of the lower side of my rear bumper seems to have like a distance warning sensor buttons. If they were, they are probably not wired as they are none functional.
