Steering Wheel Shake. (NOT THAT SHAKE)

is it a screw or something missing? it feels loose, the entire cluster assembly and steering wheel just move like nothing is holding it in place, from side to side as you can see in the vid. and the worst thing is when driving at highway speed 55 to 70, it just nuts!:squigglemouth: HELP!!!!
 
thats insane. Looks like your whole cluster/steering collumn is loose... I have no idea what it is but doesnt look too safe at high speeds :eek.:
 
Fixed it!!!!... I decided to remove the lower panel and see if i could spot the problem. Voila!!...

Turned ou to be a 12mm bolt that was just sitting there :eek.:, the entire thing was completely loose!.

The cluster/steering doesn move anymore. Easy fix (thank god)... :top:
 
Ha. Them geniuses wouldnt figure that out. And if they did youd have to go back and have them put the plastics back on properly (refering to the dash replacement issues)

lol that happened to you to? haha that's funny. they totally suck at everything. They do take pride in their labor rate though.
 
Wow...I saw the first video and was thinking, you are screwed...no pun intended. But phew...luckily it was only a bolt issue...but how odd that it just happend to have "fallen" out??? But hey, glad everything is ok.
