Need help with the right tire size for 24's

Im going to do black or dark gunmetal grey. As for which rim company that will be a surprise lol. But they will be custom made one offs.

Finally got my wheels and couldnt be happier. Ride is fine so far. Offset was perfect. And they look amazing. Ill post some pics later today. Now the only thing is Im getting vibration from the steering at highway speeds. Im wondering id I should get it aligned right away or wait. Somebody told me I should use wheel hubs as well. Anybody?

I'm about to get 24x9 rims, what tire size and offset did you end up going with Ugly?

Awesome. Went with 24x9 with an offset of +35. 275/35/24 tires which because of the 9 on the width of the wheels was fine. Had they been 9.5 or 10 there would have been too little sidewall but it turned out fine and np with potholes (so far). What kind of wheels you going with? Oh btw call me Joe

What, you dont like being called UGLY? lol
sup Joe!

Joe it is, by the way the names Jason. The rim is actually 24x9.5 but I think I'm going with 285/35/24 tires, they have a +35 offset not sure about the negative offset hopefully I will be fine though. Here is a picture of the rim, I'm planning on painting the silver part of the rims copper to match the body color of my car:

Haha, I know right. Joe or Hoe, either one is fine. Wass good Sean...I think the copper fx's are takin over! :tongue (2):

You know whats funny is you never realize how many people actually have a certain color car until you have it. I bought the Mojave Copper because I didn't see them around like that, now that I have it I feel like I see it more often than not.

True Jason, I think its always like that with any car you get. I believe the wheel your looking at is the Forte F56 & yeah the offset for that is +35. So 24x9.5 should be fine.Tires if I was you Id go with the 285/35/24. Should be fine no rubbing issues anywhere. Im running 275/30/24 but my wheels a bit narrower so Id suggest going with a bit bigger for 9.5 width that way they wont look stretched out and also potholes in NY...you already know

Thanks again Joe. I never knew there was such a science to fitting rims. When I was younger I would just slap the biggest rim I could fit on my cars without rubbing and didn't worry about the consequences. I think I'm going to take a little more care with my FX.:top:

go with the 285/25/24 tires you wont have any rubbing problems and a nice rubber to protect your rims..

Did you mean 285/35/24? I think that's the route I'm going. No luck on the bolt pattern for the rims I was going to buy originally now the rim I'm getting is 24x10 hope that size tire is still good. I was thinking about a 295/35/24 I don't know how much of a difference that will make in a good or bad way.

Yes sorry 285/35/24 tires, i feel like maybe i could have went a lil bigger but i think anything else is pushing it. so i am happy with the size i got in nyc i had them for about 2 month no problems in the bronx.

Ok cool I will stick with 285/35/24 tires thanks again Mike. I'm going to jump over to my thread about all the issues I'm having with offset choices and so on. I don't want to start double posting :
