What went wrong with your FX today?

How can u tell if a tire can even be patched up? This guy just looked at it when I had it laying inside the FX and said oh it can't be fixed u need a new tire. But this is also the same guy that was trying to get my sensors in the Lexani rims reprogrammed there. I told them they suck bc they never are able to program them properly so I would have Infiniti do that instead.

Can you describe where and how the damage is on the tire? Is it on the side, is it a long slice, towards the center...etc. Maybe a picture
 
Definitely repairable by inner patch. I suggest you should fine a different rreliable shop. These guys wants your business bad, haha.
 
Yeah I was talking to my wife and she reminded me that this same place told her that her tire on her G35 could not be fixed and we went to bjs and a guy said it could be fixed. This tow fair tire also tried to tell her once when two if her G35 rims got stolen that they were not allowed to sell just two tires for a all wheel drive car and that she needed to buy four tires.
 
Dome light acting up on the FX. When i exit the veicle it flickers, and you tap the dome console or unit and it turns off/on or flickers wildly. Dealership is fixing it though, no complaints with the new baby so far.
 
The front passenger tire has a slow leak. The tire shop found the leak coming out from several bolts. Never trust a cheap place to repair your 2/3 piece wheels. Now the whole wheel needs to be reassembled and resealed professionally, going to call COR first thing Monday morning...sigh...

This is so wrong :bulgy-eyes: I really dislike any business establishments that takes advantages of consumer's hard earned paycheck UGGH !! I guess one just needs to wait and see how Karma strikes " Tow Fair Tire " once they close down ????

My wife just called me to say that while she was driving through downtown the BRAKE SLIP and VDC lights came on at about the same time. No change in the car's behavior though. Probably just a sensor or something. I'll pull the codes tonight.

I think the FX was just getting jealous of all the time I've been spending with the Audi lately... :tongue:
 
I wouldn't even consider springs anymore. I highly recommend Coilovers. I know it's almost twice as much as a complete setup of struts, shocks, and springs, but the quality of coilovers and ability to adjust ride height and dampening is will worth the money.
 
Knocking on Wood ..... Absolutely nothing .... purred like a kitten all the way to Myrtle Beach SC .....
