Knowing my rotors need replacing in the Spring, I am looking at drilled rotors from R1Concepts.com. My friend has an Audi and ordered rotors from Adams Rotors found here: http://www.adamsrotors.com

They have some really nice looking rotors. Anyone have them installed? I will know how he likes them once he gets them installed.

I have R1 rotors on my FX and Adams on my Audi. Adams are cheaper but they are also much more prone to surface rust, at least in my situation. No noticeable performance advantage either way.

Even with the zinc coating? I would think they would not rust as quick. I like the look of the over-dimpled.

Which R1 rotors and pads are you running? Any close-up pics of the wheel with them installed?

I have the R1 premium rotors in the front. Only difference between their normal drill/slotted rotors is that the premium rotors is an extra set of drilled out lines and some special coating. I have the R1's normal drilled/slotted in the rear. All around i use the OEM pads.

See the difference in the normal and premium rotors.

I'll get you some pics later. The FX has R1 premium slotted (no coating) and the Audi has Adams slotted (painted hub). The R1's accumulate minimal surface rust if the FX sits for a couple days, but the Adams do it overnight and the coating is coming off the hubs after ~2k miles. Like I said before, its just a visual difference - both greatly outperform the used OEM units they replaced. I'd recommend R1's for you. You can probably find them a little cheaper too, as they're rebranded Centric units...
