El Infinito. :: 2004 Infiniti FX35

Nice FX, what is plastidipped black mean? I'm guessing not painted or powder coated but they look good. Want to get my 20" stocks done in black.

Plasti dip is a rubber coatting, it comes in a spray can and you can use it on pretty much everything, and the best thing is that if you don't like it you can peel it off.

You can get it from DipYourCar.com, and it comes in different colors!. I'm about to do my interior trim on red:tongue (2):

So is it a pain to work with? Especially on the rims, does it stick pretty good and how about when washing the suv does it come off with the force of the spray at the car wash?

Is actually easy to work with, just clean the wheel good let it dry and then apply 4 or 5 coats of plasti dip, the first 2 coats should be light. Wait at least 5 to 10 min between coats.
I never take my car to the car wash, I always wash my car myself but, I do use a power washer and even pointing the gun directly to the rim doesn't affect the plasti dip at all. ( I use a 1400 psi power washer)
