Caliper Covers

They look and sound like a decent idea on the surface, but way too phony for me.
Put them out of your mind, forget you ever saw them, and let the cheese-ballers roll with those.

I've seen one other car with it. The overall quality and look isn't that bad actually, but the general opinion about buying these will be a big no-no.

Yeah, I bought a kit at autozone made by duplicolor for 20.00 and it has everything you need to do 4 calipers. When I did my brakes I cleaned 1 really well and test painted a spot on one where the rotor would hide it if I decided I didn't want to do it. And I was very pleased as it went on smooth and dries fast and the color is perfect. I didn't end up doing them this time as I had alot to do and didn't want to spend the time cleaning all the calipers and painting them but I assure you I will do it in the future. By the way, this is a brush on kit and the masking tape and brush they include isn't worth a shit so if anyone decides to do this pick up a cheap brush and a roll of good masking tape along with a can of brake cleaner. It comes with a can but I don't think it will be enough to do all four.
