Hey guys been noticing a slight rocking movment of my driver seat. When slowing down it moves a little forward, but more noticeable is the rock back when accelerating. Really starting to aggravate me big time! I also noticed this on my previous FX35 I owned back in the day. Now I'm no small guy 6'1" 240lbs, but never had a different type of car do this to me other than an FX. Is there some type of adjustment I can make, anyone else experience this? Or am I gonna have to take her in to the Stealership? Thanks in advance for your help Guys!

There is a TSB for the driver's seats creaking like this on 2003-2004 MY's. I had mine fixed under extended warranty last year on my '04. They had to replace the seat rails. For you at this point, you may have to see if dealer will honor it or pay in full for repair.

Hey Joe there is a TSB where it requires a replaced seat rail. I took mine into the dealership and they said it is 100% not a safety issue so no replacement. I think they quoted me $1,000 for a new seat rail. I left...

Andrew got his done for free so I guess it's the luck of the draw.

Yeah just found the mystery driver seat thread, I'm gonna look for a shim or try to do something myself. I have an extended warranty but it only will cover non-functioning or broken parts. I'll take it to the dealer if I can't figure it out, drives me insaine!

It happened in your '07 too? Oh, I hope I don't go through it again on mine. And the bubbling dash too. I thought the seat rail issue was resolved by '06 at least :mask:

Yeah happens when I stop at every red light or stop sign, and I had a horrible experience replacing my dash earlier in the year, but its holding up pretty well now

happens to my 08 also. i brought it into two dealerships. they wont do anything about it. they said they feel it but all bolts r tight etc. so dumb.
