Finally wheels are installed!

Well I finally got my spacers and got the wheels installed, I had to change out the studs and everything went pretty smooth with the exception of rear rotors were a bitch to get off the hub. All in all not bad, I do however have a bad shimmy between 45-60 and think it was a bad balance. When installing the front wheels I noticed the one wheel didn't have any weights at all, I find it virtually impossible that tires that big did not require any weight so I'm taking it back and have them road force balanced today. Also I'm going to make sure the spacers are completely centered. Then maybe an alignment but I'm pretty sure its the balancing. I will keep you posted, here are a few pics. I think they look pretty good and the 10mm spacers with the 45 degree offset put me pretty flush with the outer lip of the wheel wells.

Congrats. Wow nice looking car and house.
Personally, I think lower it with some H&R Springs or Coilovers will make it a sweeter ride. Not that it is not it is now :wink (2):

Nice pics. I knew you were a bit concerned when you first bought the wheels about fitment, etc. I'm glad you finally got your concerns taken care of. :top:

Looks good. I've got an 08 AWD that looks identical to yours. I'm getting my wheels installed today as well. I was planning on purchasing coilovers this morning until I saw the new coilover feeler group buy. :top:

thanks guys I'm real happy with the look. As in my post I told you about the wobble so I took it back to the tire shop and had them road forced and that got rid of quite a bit so I adjusted the rack and it got rid of the rest. I do however have a wobble at braking and I'm thinking rotors are in the near future, I just bought it about 5k miles ago and it was cpo so I'm sure the stealership just turned them and they heated and warped. I know I could get them turned again but I'm not a big fan of that due to the warping issue. So what are the best inexpensive rotors and pads you guys have found?

Thanks, but I need rotors.

I wasn't trying to come across as a dick do please don't take it that way I appreciate the advice and I will probably end up with those. But i need to get decent rotors to start. Thanks

Try checking the integrity of the tire installation. I used to have a bad steering wheel vibration at speeds 65mph and above. I always thought the rims needs hubcentric rings but a local tire center insists the rims fits flush and recommends alignment.

When I brought my car in to install TPMS, one of their mechanic noticed that two of my tires were installed in the reverse. It was like 2 wheels are running forward like normal wheel thread pattern while the other 2 are like driving in the reverse all the time! Caused steering vibrations and uneven tire wear. He had it corrected and my last 3 hour trip to Atlantic City was a pleasurable ride. I pushed the car at speeds in excess of 90 at times - vibration is gone:smile (2):
