Love the setup. What part of brooklyn are you from? I grew up in Brighton Beach!
Man I need to visit NY soon. Have a lot of family there. How's the new coney island? Surely miss the $1 slice pizzas!
Looking good. I think I saw you on the Northern State yesterday in LI
From now on am taking mine , of every year if not twice.Wow, that's crazy they were seized on like that.
i believe a couple things should be watched out for when running spacers. First, do not let anyone else install your spacers unless you know for sure they are not exceeding 80 ft/lbs torque. Secondly, take them off, clean them up and reinstall them once a year, especially if you run them thru crappy winters where salt and sand is used on the roads.
You know what else is scary, even if they hand torque them, the studs are not necessarily torqued to the right torque. Many dealers or mechanics don't get their torque wrenches calibrated on a regular basis and most don't know what to do with their torque wrenches when not in use.I think everyone should always tell the dealer, or anyone else working on their car to never use the impact on their spacers/wheels/lugs.
I always used to tell the shop, hand torque the lugs. I swear those guys get lazy and they just crank their impact at like 200ftlbs on the lugs.
So true. I remove mine at least once a year now to clean them and apply a very thin drop of anti seize.Wow, that's crazy they were seized on like that.
