Custom made license plate led light.

OK this may be a dumb question or comment, but why would you want to brighten up your license plate area? won't it be easier to read as you are speeding around town late at night???
 
It makes the car look 100% better at night. Sprtfx lights are a perfect white tint and look amazingly sophisticated. One of the best mods I've done to date.
 
Yeah, as silly as it sounds, it makes the car look much more modern with LED plate lights like this. I love the look on mine.
 
I have the white led plate lights and looks great. I went for a different look now for a more evil look and put red leds.

I have a ems decal on my hatch but dunno how far that goes for getting away with stuff.

Totally for looks, it makes the car look much more high end like newer BMW's, MB's, etc. The car looks much more modern than with the stock lights.

Also, if you were speeding around town late at night and the police saw you, it wouldn't matter how bright the plate is since they'll be reading it with their spotlight after pulling you over.

Version 2 upgrade + some video if you're bored. this is about 20-30% brighter than version 1
since all version 1 are sold out even the one I have on my car, a guy stop me and ask to buy it on the spot.
so I don't have V1 to compare side by side with V2, V1 has 9 SMD leds, V2 has 10 SMD Leds and slightly higher output
resisters. blaaah blaah blaah , any way here they are.

Camera make it Brighter than actual real life, in person it is not over done in term of brightness but very clean even output, those who has V1 know what I mean.

Does not effect back up camera, some people say it appear yellowish on screen due to oem revers light, swap that to led then yellowish should be gone.

Yep, this is what I had to do with mine.
