I have a 03 Infiniti FX35 AWD that I'd bought new and after all these years of super-reliable performance the time has come to give it some attention. I was in the process of changing the front passenger side wheel hub assembly and everything was going well until I broke a bolt on the brake caliper mount. I tried to use a bolt extractor (on both sides of the caliper) and the darn extractor bit broke inside the bolt as well. :mad.:
I took it the machine shop and they said that my best bet is to find a replacement and hence this post. Please let me know if you have any pointers to procure the part other than buying the whole assembly. Anyone parting out their FX?
