Dear Infinitists,

Some time ago I installed FX50 Akebono front brakes on my 08' FX35 (S50). Brakes work much better than the stock, stopping performance is dramatically increased.
But after several track days (it seems that I overheated my rotors) now when I apply the brakes and rotors heat up - my steering wheel starts shaking which means that rotors are finished(((

So I'm thinking of buying something more tough to replace the OEM FX50 rotors.

Size needed: FX50 OEM rotor size - 355mm/32mm (14"/1,26")

Perfect decision is StopTech 2-piece AeroRotors but it seems that there are no application for my car. I already wrote a message to StopTech, so now I'm only waiting for their answer.

If anybody knows any other available 2-piece applications, please let me know! Size needed is OEM FX50 rotor size.
If there are any other NON 2-piece applications that solve the problem, please let me know too.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Nick,

I would highly suggest buying DBA two piece rotors. I have DBA two piece cross drilled and slotted for my rear rotor, used with a 4 piston AP Racing caliper. Quality is the best I've seen in a rotor.

If you track, I highly recommend getting slotted only (not cross drilled), to reduce chance of cracking. For street only, cross drilled/slotted is excellent.

A one piece rotor solution though is the powerslot cyro rotor as well.

If i remember correctly, one is to ensure you bed your rotors in correctly and get it to a hot enough temp.

I love my rotors... I stare at them all the time when I walk away from my car...

Yeah man! Two piece rotors look so much better than one piece. I've seen a few really sexy designs.

The little painted strips that change with certain temperatures look useful too.

Wow, you made a perfect answer)) Thank you very much!
I think I made my choice)))

I'll take the CrossDrilled and Slotted, because 99% of the time is street use.

Thanks again! I'm very happy now and ready to order))
