Looking at putting another 140K on my FX. Have not had any big issues, and Im trying to be proactive to increase my chances of reaching 300k if I decide to keep my FX that long. I've read threads about increasing performance; rebuilding engines and transmissions, but they seem to be more focused on increasing horsepower. I want my FX to continue to run efficiently without any decrease in performance. So what should I look into doing since Im obviously in high mileage waters? Thanks

Honestly, from what I've seen that may be high mileage for a FX but not a VK. I would just suggest staying on top of regular maintenance items and you should be fine. A little Seafoam wouldn't hurt either.

Sounds like you're already doing everything right... you already know this but being religious on fluid changes is the best thing you can do.

You'll eventually get worn out suspension parts, bushings, door actuators, fuel door actuators, water pump, front/rear hub bearings etc... some you don't need to replace, some you can if you want, others, like the water pump, might be good for 300k miles.

I went a little overboard and just replaced a lot of those things at 120k miles.
