After 1 month of being in an electronics shop, and now another month in a body shop (aka SLAMMING45's garage), my car is coming together.

It's back now at a tire shop getting some Pirelli tires put on some iForged wheels. I still have a few days left of work to be done for finishing touches.

I have to thank Joe (SLAMMING45) for the custom body/paint, Humberto (HumbertoCALI) for the hook-up, Andy (La_FX35) for giving me rides out of his way, Lance (LOGAN) for the sage advice and many others on this forum for helping me out.

Pictures are to come and details, but in the meanwhile, here is a tease:

 Nice choice for a teaser shoot there Ed. Love the out of focus blur.

Thanks for the photos and coming out with your massive full frame camera! Andy went the extra mile and even burned me a CD with the photos before I even got to his house.

Ed will she be available for a photo shoot tomorrow afternoon? I can be free in from noon on.

Sounds good. Want me to come to your house? Then Mapo for dinner?

I'll bring my tennis rackets too just in case.

I don't anticipate any issues (crossing my fingers), but the tire/wheel shop is checking the TPMS's, my valve stem install, water diverter install, mounting and balancing on Hunter Roadforce and getting as close to 0 as possible (and having them write the # on the inner sidewall), filling with nitrogen, alignment (I align my car to my summer wheels and not my winter wheels), etc...

I'm going to stop by my cousins in the morning for the hi-output alternator and check my battery again -- don't want to be stranded again.

the front looks great! blends in so well and the body shop did a awesome job
you getting summer wheels just in time for winter lol

are you planning on side skirts?

That would be Joe (body shop).

Decided not on side skirts, they are sitting in my basement. I kept the OEM look with black textured bottom.

Yes, I have about 1 month (if that) to use my "summer" wheels...

are you running with stock side skirts btw?

Yes!

Dang Ed! Love it! Can't wait to see more pictures!

Thanks.

I cant wait for the pics with the iforged wheels. as for the side, I think it looks "high" compared to the front, but thats just one mans opinion. awesome looking ride, makes me jealous :)

Yes, front is lower than sides. Didn't want to install the sides, I'm fine with the look, similar to the Jeep SRT8:

That looks great. I notice the custom paint grill, but I can visualize a Black K1 grill on there for some contrast.

That was my first choice -- Andy had a black, badge-less grille I was going to buy off him. The wife has been asking for a "normal" looking grille for years now, so this was the outcome. Good eye on the DG matching grille.

I think in the future I'll swap my Prodrive replica, Black Badge-less Grille and DG color matched grille when I get bored.

Ok we're on. Anyone local wanted to join us tomorrow is more than welcome. My place.

The plan:
Photo shoot
Clean cluster glass
350Z brake cover
Sub install (Amp en route for tomorrow)
Lance's mod install (TB en route for delivery tomorrow)

 May not get to tennis if the deliveries are on target.
