Hey guys
was just trying to get a few ideas of were to put my front license plate, appently the orginal positionof the plate is not allowing much airflow to my intercooler (the car is still not done yet but 3 more days :smug:) ...

I was thinking of having the plate installed just below the left headlight (rideside of the pic)

... i can make the plate smaller by getting a motorcycle plate but i will have issues with the cops eventually ... for now were do you think i can put this plate with comprimising airflow ?

(yes i already know that the LED's next to the headlight are blocking flow as well:wink (2):)

why don't you look for a kit that retracts the plates in and stays hidden n you can bring it out with a flip of a button. that way there's no plate till you need to show it.

+1

Get a hideaway plate that flips down either manually or motorized that will slide under the bumper when you don't need/cant have it out.

Thats a really good idea actually  ... thats goin to be a seriously annoying install though ... has anyone ever had this done before? I think autoloc sells those kits  ... but since i live far away and have no patience for shipping ... im goin to check if i can have it custom made for manual retracting (not motorized)

A friend of mine told me that i can the plate done as a sticker (just like the exotics do :tongue (2):) ... but im sure im going to face issues with the cops on that one too:laugh:

It wont restrict any airflow. Behind my plate is the camera for the laser cruise.

Yea but it will cover my LED's ... i love those:wink (2): ... If the flip down plate doesnt work, i think in goin to place it a bit below the left headlight .... i personally think it will look great ... plus my intercooler behind the bumper will show alot more now that the plate is moved away:biggrin::tup:

Relocate it to your garage shelf  and fill the holes. Seriously though, will you have issues if you just stick it in the windshield on the dash?

Hahaha yea i really just want to get rid of the front plate :tonguey: ....yea i saw those holes !!! :confused.: they look retarded!! im definetly going to have to fill them in:err:.... actually i never really thought of just putting on my dash ... i will ask around if i can do that... would save me alot of headaches!! :wink (2):

Move to Quebec Canada where we don't have a front license plate lol.. I would put it in front of one of your fogs considering you have your LEDs

hahaha yea dude you guys have got it easier  .... but hey i have my advantages were i live ....there are barely any traffic rules were i live :wink (2)::laugh::laugh: .. the max. fine i ever got was 30$:smug:

get rid of those LEDs an put the plate to the side

Even if i remove the LED's and place the plate in there place, it is still going to be blocking airflow to my intercooler .... im currently checking in on getting a smaller plate ... cops here dont really care that much ... the worst they could do is make me install the stock plate back infront of them

If that idea doesnt work looks like im placing the plate just below the left headlight (using the smaller plate):wink (2):

cool thanks for the link. Another question is there any aftermarket license plate holders so i can relocate it somewhere else? Btw cheers to a fellow is member from ontario :)
