I called couple dealers and here is good news. 2012 FX35 on ships already =)
They said about in 30 days or so,they get them in stock.

Time to sell 2009-2011 models and go for 2012 model :tup:

Well anyway,I put $500 deposit on limited edition. Also that dealership allowed me to export it even.

Congrats, I think I will be keeping my 09 for another year or two until some big changes happen.
 
Nah, I'm good lol. I wouldn't trade my 09 for a 2012 anyday. They took away too many nice features the 09's have that the 2012 models dont. Like the quilted leather, paddles, aluminum pedals, etc etc. Plus I put too much love and care into my ride to just give it up like that.

Congrats! I put the deposit down on my limited edition about a month and a half ago but have yet to hear confirmation when they are coming over.

If you don't have any pics besides the official ones, let me know and I can send them over. I have about 10 unpublished ones from the JX release event.

it's time for the upgrade! first fx was totaled 30 days after getting it in 03/04 and second fx has 140k on it! CANT wait!

What options did you get?
 
Supposedly the limited editions have a October production date so delivery will be about a month later. This is what the infiniti rep told me.
 
New models are now up with pricing and pics and more on infinti.com now!

Side note, my limited is slated to be done officially with production at the end of this week. My rep said to excpect it 30 days from completion. Lets cross our fingers thats true!
 
is this the special edition you ordered: "The Limited Edition will be distinguished by an exclusive Iridium Blue exterior color, 21" 10-spoke aluminum-alloy graphite finish wheels with P265/45R21 V-rated all-season tires, dark tinted headlights with Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) and auto-leveling, and dark tinted side air vents and lower door trim."

Yep, that's the one.

Per the Infiniti national sales rep for dealers, No 12's have arrived stateside yet. I am still awaiting a concrete date for mine but I'll be sure to post when I know.

I don't know. If you already have a second gen FX, "save" your money and mod it. For those with a first gen FX, I can see the desire to get a 2012. But at this point in the game and already at a mid-cycle refresh why not just wait until the third gen comes out? Unless you are driving a beater Kia, might as well enjoy the first gen and wait for a third gen.
 
I just recieved word that my limited edition finished production yesterday and is on its way! It should arrive at the beginning of November or end of Oct if I am lucky!

Aero, I somewhat agree on holding off with a midcycle refresh, but it looks like they will be continuing with this body style for at least two years since the vettel edition wont be released for year and will continue with this body style.

I also hated the front end on the current generation. I think the new "pinched front" matches the proportions of the body much much better and gives it a much more aggressive look. Of course eye is in the beauty of the beholder....I think parts of the vettel are disgusting, like the wing, but with 140k on my current fx it was perfect timing!

Cant wait to post some pics next to the typhoon and skyline!

Definately won't be seeing a 3rd gen FX atleast till another 2-3 years, so honestly there is no point in waiting.
