FX50S soon to be uprev tuned.

255 kph is 158 mph, and it's 5th gear so if you're hitting the speed limiter during the run, then he's not getting through the whole power band. Just like how when I did a dyno I got like 180 HP (and that was all the way to 5.5k) because the shop didn't use the correct gear
 
Ok guys going for round two with the uprev tune. Looking like second week in feb. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ok had some issues but got it all ironed out. I will scan and post the dyno shortly. About a 25hp peak gain and 30+HP in some areas. I am happy how this turned out. Cam at light speed can now offer bench tunes for people that just want to buy the cable and upload a tune. I you can sent him your ECU. This is the very first FX50s to be tunes via uprev.

Get in touch with an UpRev dealer in your area. Aka church automotive or GTM to name a couple. Then have them check your ROM to make sure UpRev has cracked the ROM and they are able to tune it with Osiris.
 
UpRev only lists 7 ROM's for the FX50. Not sure where they got the data, but it says two from 2008, one from 2009, and four from 2010.

You'd need to get a shop to hook up Osiris and make sure that your ROM is cracked already, or have it sent to UpRev to get cracked.

So that means Shumby's is the seventh 50 to be tuned? Or do they crack the ROM's for future use? Does each trim level have a different ROM?

It very well could be. For example, my ROM is currently not cracked. The reason for my issue is that since I have the different ROM on there, there's no way for me to get my ROM to UpRev. They only list two ROM's for the '07 FX35: 8Y72A and 8Y74A. 8Y75A is a 2007 FX45 ROM. My ROM is 8Y71A, and the ECU I found that I thought would be the same was actually 8Y70A.

I'm guessing that the ROM I have now is for an FX without intelligent cruise, and that would explain why my cruise control no longer works.
 
I've heard that if you go to the shop and they don't currently have support for it that they will download your whole ecu and send it to uprev to get cracked, anyone done this yet?
 
I have the uprev cable. If you go to your dealer they can tell you your ECU pN. If uprev dose not have it I am willing to ship my cable to you so you can download you ECU and send the file to uprev. Shipping costs to be covered by you to you adn b k to me. I reserve the right to refuse members that have low posts add seem shady. Which should not be a lot of people.

That should be correct, although UpRev doesn't list anyone in Portland on their site, so Shumby's offer might be best.
