Hey guys.. got a question.
I'm a military personnel stationed in England. Just got here this year and brought my 2010 FX35 with me. To comply with Brit's stupid vehicle lighting rules, the garage I went to get SVA(vehicle inspection) did following things to my rear tail light assembly.
1. disabled the turn signals (the turn signals HAVE to be amber)
2. made my back-up lights as turn signals (fitted amber bulbs)
3. I have no f....n back up light now.(Reverse light is not required in UK)
I want to utilize my normal turn signals and stuff and I guess I can use amber/yellow LED bulb for the turn signals and have reverse light again. But I dont know how to turn everything back to normal. I certainly don't want to pay 240 pounds($400) to revert back to factory setting, as quoted by the same garage above.
I thought about getting Taillight assembly from Infiniti UK dealership (they have amber turn signal lenses) but they charge a bit more than 700 pounds ($1159), no way in hell. Even if I do that, I still need to revert the lighting sequence back to normal
Any help would be appreciated
