Crazy Headline News...

Hey guys sorry i have been so lost, well on july 6 i was driving to my house from work and when i was getting home i noticed some smoke coming from under the car and i was like jmmm not normal at all , and then a guy told me to get out of the car becouse there was fire under the car, and i was like oh shit so left the car in park and got out as fast as i could. The car cought on flames it burnd and burnd it melted on the street.. there was niothing left of it expet for the trunk! :/ that day i was like :0 did this really happened or was it a dream? nah but it really did happened :( Thank god im ok :) .......... anyways i don't know if you guys remember but 3 weeks before they change my trani with a new one the service guy did not test the car before giving it to me because in the service paper it had the same millage in and out and it had a oil filtration from the trani that developed the fire in the trani under the car. Crazy i know! ill post some pic's as soon as i can so you guys could see the crazy massive melted 2009 infiniti fx35!

HOLY $HIT!!!!:eek.: I'm glad you made it out and werent hurt. So now what are you suing infinti??

dude im sorry for the loss, but i see a lawsuit they need to check to see if everything was connected properly and should of done a test drive, with the money u from the lawsuit u can up grade to the Sebastian Vettel Edition FX :tup:///14195

Dude thats nuts. Hope the refund process goes smooth. What a headache. Glad you're ok.

law suits are all about damages. in a case like this the vehicle itself is insured so the loss of the vehicle is already going to be covered, about the only loss you could sue for would be maybe the amount of your deductible and maybe your cab ride home but not much more really... now if you were horribly disfigured or there was a death or serious injury, then you'd have a case for a suit, otherwise just be thankful that you don't have a case for suit which is always better than the alternative...

now your insurance company would have a case to sue for the amount that they wind up ultimately having to pay you, but that's really between them & the responsible parties, you've got the right attitude in that as long as your compensated from your insurance company your good...

I see as always good explanation

Damm and I was bummed about my melted headlights that sucks glad your OK hope you get a shiny new FX out of the deal.

Wow, glad to hear your ok! Your FX is replaceable but your not.
Hope everything works out for you.

Wow crazy story! I'm glad you are safe....so what are your next plans...going to stick with another FX?

Crazy story and glad to hear your okay. I couldn't imagine stepping out of the car and seeing it burn to be ground.
I once passed a tow truck parked on side interstate 90 towing a dump truck and they were still connected. Guessing he didn't hook it up right and the brakes caught on fire and the whole dump truck was in flames. Thing that sucks is the $100k+ tow truck was still connected and I'm sure that burned down to the ground as well. (I have a picture ill have to find it and upload it)
Anyway.. keep us updated. And I can see you buying a SRT Jeep bc that's what you've always wanted.

cars are replaceable lives are not.. good thing you are okay, I would have been sobbing but the main thing is you are okay... what did the dealer say???

Like everyone else said, glad your okay bud! Time for an upgrade? 50s? or how bout that new special edition fx coming out? ;-)

Reminds of when a friend's navigator burned in their garage. It was under recall for an F150 but not navigator so the problem wasn't fixed.

Glad you're ok, and hope you find a good replacement vehicle.

Oh wow, sorry for the loss of your FX and glad you didn't get injured. I know you spent a lot of time finding the right wheels and getting your springs done. :frown: But you know....

:worthless_thread_wo
