i found a tow hook in my spare wheel compartment and i cant seem to find out where it goes.

Front bumper there should be a little plastic cover at the crash bar. The tow hook threads into that.

Your front bumper license plate frame covers it in case you have a bracket.

Oh yeah forgot about the plate. If you take the plate off the bracket should have a hole thru it for the tow hook. At least I'm pretty sure that's what the hole in the bracket is for. lol

yea thanks guys. it is behind the license plate.. what a dumb spot to put it. cant get to it unless you take off the licence plate and the frame. i don't got a cover for the tow hook hole either.

IS there any type of aftermarket tow hook that can be bolted to the side in the front? my licence plate is in the way and having a tow hook in the middle is ugly.

Why not leave the tow hook in the trunk, unless it is needed and hopefully it never will. That's what everyone else does. Then you can just pop the plate off if it is needced.

i got issues haha. always afraid some idiot will hit my baby while parking or something. how do you even pop the licence plate off.. not everyone carries a screw driver / socket in their car
I carry a screwdriver in the car. Fits nicely in either the door pockets or the little cubbies on the sides under the cargo floor.

If you are really worried you could leave a screw driver or socket (whatever you need to get the plate off) in the trunk along with the tow hook.

The look is a bit too ricey for me, unless you're really going to track it. If you want it for front bumper protection insurance, I'd say to stick with the OEM tow hook. Maybe paint it.
