What gauges do i need?

Hey guys!

Still waiting on my vortech superchager to arrive from the U.S :rofl::rofl::biggrin:... I was wondering what gauges that i really need in order to monitor the health of my car? :wub:

I have a budget of around 800$ ... i kind of have a choice between a set of gauges or a AEM water/meth injection kit ... still not sure which one to choose:confused: ... the water meth kit is around 700$ sooo basically the same prices though :wub:.... what do you think?
 
Maybe I've been out of the market too long, but the gauges that I bought for my Z after I turbo'd it were a lot less than $800. I didn't want more than 2 A-pillar gauges, so I went with a DEFI boost and AEM wideband A/F gauge.

Is the meth injection really a necessity for your application?
 
Boost and wideband gauges if you only want to do two.. with the boost you'll be running I really don't see you needing more than that.

800$ was my budget... Would be great if the gauges didnt cost tht much but im looking at gauges from AEM atm:wub:

Thnks fxlr8 for the link but i live far away and the only gauges available for me atm are AEM :wink:

Yea i am going to be running on low boost for now at least until i build my internals in the near future ...

So it looks lik im going for an A\F gauge, engine oil temp gauge, and a boost gauge .. I will create. A thread of my car being built once is goes to the shop in a week (counting down the minutes!!!)
