2006 FX35 - price check

I'm looking at a 2006 Black/Black FX35 with the Sport/Tech package (clear tails and 20" wheels).

Mileage is 50k and clean title.

The dealer quoted me $24k and is quite firm..

I've searched through older posts about used prices but they all seem much lower than what I'm finding in the market today.

Do you guys think this is an ok price?

I think that's a little high....I bought the same car in 2009...06' blk/blk, Sport/Tech/Hands Free/Touring packages w/ 18K mi for $26.5K

Thanks - That puts things in perspective. Like I mentioned, when I looked through older threads, people all seemed to have gotten much better quotes than this. However when I checked with the dealer, I was given the impression that the market is different now due to shortages of used cars.

I'm just trying not to overpay to much even though I know I'm probably buying at a high point.
 
Definitely look around....also I bought mine from a private party. Dealer will always charge more. However, I'm also from NJ and was looking to buy a used FX when I lived there. Long story short, due to a job offer I ended up moving out to Cali and noticed that cars are cheaper out here for some reason. Maybe due to there just being so many more, but a few east coasters out here have said they noticed the same thing....

Check Legacy Infiniti in Lynbrook, NY. They have one of the highest inventory of pre-owned Infinitis in the tri-state. Buy the car towards the end of the month. This is the time when the salesmen are on a rush to meet quota or pick up more sales to get premium incentives. If you plan to finance it, do not use the dealership financing, instead go to your own bank. You will have a better deal.

Just my opinion.
