Hey iS. I was given a badgeless grill for a 03-05 fx. I have a 07 fx and i'm trying to get that grill to fit my fx. I seen a few of you guys with the badgeless grill on you 06-08 fx's.

How did you guys get it to fit???

I have been messing around with the grill and it's mounting points. Only thing i can see is that i have to cut the bumper where the mounting points are.

Can anyone chime in and help me out. Thanks a million.

You can't fit an 03-05 grill on the 06-08 FX and vice versa unless you also change out the bumper.

Not true on the latter part of that statement. With a slight modification to mounting points on the 06+ grill you can fit it to a pre-06 FX without changing out the bumper. I am not sure about fitting the 03-05 grill to a 06-08 FX. I think you would have to extend the mounting points to fit. Turbo would know this for sure.

yeah, getting the newer grille to fit the older fx is easy, pretty sure that getting the older grille to fit the newer fx is going to be easy too but I'd have to see it to remember what needs to be done. pass by the shop & I'll look at it for you, I'm sure we can get it one there without chopping the bumper up :) always better to chop the grille instead of the bumper

I have no idea

Sounds like TC6 will be adding high heels to your grill mount points. Your FX will have a 1 Bar less if 03-05 design :tongue (2): . Pics when possible.

Yo John that's the only way it'll fix. Cause the 03-05 grill is a little smaller and you can't really see the gap cause my car is blk.

I hea ya. Black hides the little gap. Mine would be way more obvious. I tried it your way but you see the mounting points underneath like a soar thumb cause of my white color.

I'll get this to work somehow.
