Advice on blacking out door handles and roof rails on 2005 fx35

as you can tell from my pics ive got with the black theme with my windows, wheels, makers, grille ect. I keep getting a lot of compliments but feel like it would really top it off to do the door handles and roof rack? vinyl wrapping will not look the way i want it to and im also wondering how sophisticated taking the rails off is. Thanks for the help

There is a DIY on here and the ORG I think?...it's pretty easy. You pop off the plastic covers and then there's two bolts on each side. You should take them off and get them painted. I'm doing the same thing as I have the sport/aluminum rails. I also took my door handles to a body shop and had them color matched black. It was pretty cheap...
 
Before you paint the rails see if someone wants to trade for the black ones. Some ppl like the look of aluminum color.

I never liked how the roof rack was brushed aluminum and the door handles and stock wheels are chrome. I've wanted to change that on my FX for years but never really decided which way to go. Post pix when you do it - you might convince me!

+1 There is probably someone willing to trade you roof rails

I would suggest having the chrome strippes off the handles before you paint them because the get handled alot. I have blacked out everything on my car already if you want to see what it looks like finished product.

Can't wait to see how it looks. I been wanting to do all the chrome and get it painted black. I personally don't like chrome unless it's on rims.
