NO idea how many times I have whined/bitched/complained about this (probably a lot knowing me). I have had a tinny rattle/buzz in my ride for about a year and a half and it has made me itch...bad. Somewhere around the front center dash, only happens at speed, at specific RPM's. I removed the center speaker thinking the paper cone might be torn, nothing. Looked down in the hole fished around, nothing, kind of gave up then went back again never found it, just let it irritate me. I asked a couple people to look for the source over time with no luck.
Driving back from a presentation the other day with a couple of my ID guys I complained about it. My guy in the front (who is obviously a lot sharper than me) listens carefully to the dash then looks up and pinches the case halves together on the rear view mirror, noise stops, he lets go and it starts back up. I say "do it again".
Shit, he figures it out in 10 seconds. So either my miracle ear is toast or I can't track down a sound BUT if you are looking for the source of a sound like this try the rear view mirror.....
