VK45 - FX45 Lightweight Pulleys

Off the top of my head, I want to say something like 5.5 or 6lbs, but don't quote me on this. I weighed it when I took it over to the engineer. You can safely say that the RAM version will be between 1/4-1/3 the weight/mass of the OE pulley.

Alright Guys... Nate called me today....these are a definate go. He told me the prices with shipping to US and Canada. He will come back here and make a new thread explaining everything. He doesn't want me leaking out prices JUST yet....only for a chosen few.

I was going to start a new thread, but we'll keep it here for now and adjust as necessary.

I have a bunch of good news!!!

First off, VK45 pulleys are a go. I repeat, VK45 is a go!

Second, we did it again!!! Through the magic of "The Engineer" we managed to design a pulley coming in at 1.5lbs. That's less than 1/3 the weight of the OE pulley.

Third and this is the kicker. The pricing. Our competitors are retailing their pulleys for $250 + (and remember, they are making these in huge bulk). I'm happy to announce that RadioActive Motorsports will be offering the first ever VK45 pulley in this group buy at the following tiered pricing:

15+ Member Group Buy $200 shipped ($210 shipped to Canada).

25+ Member Group Buy $180 shipped ($190 shipped to Canada).


This pricing is amazing. You're getting the lightest weight design plus the only pulley for the VK45, CUSTOM Manufactured for less than the competition retails their products for. Lead time is 5 weeks after the group buy closes.

Are we still doing 1/2 upfront and 1/2 when they are ready to ship as previously stated? Just wondering. And are they all going to be made with the re-enforced sleeve's or is that an upcharge? Will you be offering matching accessory pulleys? Do we have a color choice?

In order to streamline the process, the group buy is going to have an initial $100 deposit. And the remainder once they're ready for shipping. This way, if we get to the 25 pulley mark, you only owe $80.

As for the reinforced sleeving...you guys are in luck. The VK45 design doesn't have the same type of design as the VQs do. The OE shaft is maintained while the bolt on pulley is replaced with the RAM Lightweight one. So, no sleeve required.

We might be able to do accessory pulleys at a later time. Probably after the New Year. I can start a new interest thread and another group buy if enough people want it.

Color choice...These are custom anodized to RAM Hyper Black. We can do another color, but it will take another 2 weeks and everybody has to agree on a single color...

BTW, the VK50 guys might be getting some love soon...

The original GB list plus Bert's extra pulley puts us at 13....need a couple more buyers and we are good to go.
