AeroBFA's Autumn Copper FX45 :: 2007 Infiniti FX45

Got the GTSPEC rear tie and mid-chassis braces installed finally! Rear tie brace isn't as noticeable, but I'm sure it does its job. The mid-chassis brace is a whole different story. This brace is amazing, I notice the whole car feels even more tighter and nimble on the corners and turns. On certain off-ramps when I drive aggressively, I don't even rub my front tires anymore, definitely a must have a brace. To clear the 06+ 45 cats, I had to buy longer bolts and used a one inch spacer so the brace would clear. So the big three must have GTSPEC braces are the front strut, mid-chassis, and the rear lateral. :good:

I need that mid chassis in my life! :good:

really... I wonder if I'm the only person that find the mid/center brace somewhat unnecessary and ground clearance will be worsen.

Soon, you are the only one thinks this, lol. It's a big improvement to have and you shouldn't have to worry about ground clearance. I measured only 4" clearance for the mid brace and 3" for the rear lateral. That's pretty extreme on coils, so you should be okay on H&Rs.

Those braces look sweet!

Why aren't you getting them? 1G or 2G, these are must have! :good:

Transgo shift kit/valve body upgrade install completed! Install was about a leisurely five hours or so. Overall, the install actually isn't too bad or difficult once it's done. I was surprised how easy it relatively was. Shifts under normal driving are hardly noticeable. It's when you really get on it and the car shifts so fast and with so much conviction, it's unbelievably fun. It's a lot of fun chirping the tires from first gear, too. After doing this, shifter paddle conversion is a must now! Thanks again to another Handy Andy installation! I forgot to bring my low profile jack that day, so he spent 45 minutes getting my car jacked up. Sorry, lol!

Parts list:
Transgo kit RE5R05A-HD2 from Summit Racing
Seven quarts of Nissan S Matic transmission fluid

Very nice Andrew, paddle shifters will complete this mod. Nothing like neck snapping shifts when under full power.

Those car ramps are the same ones that I have, I love them.

Paddle shifter + Transgo shift kit = :victory:
Fell in love with this combo once again!

Hopefully one day I'll get going on this mod! :in-love:

Wow, that looks dangerous lol

It's not too bad. It's more messy than dirty. Just make sure the car is jacked up properly. We used ramps and jacks and give the trans time to cool down.

do they make this for the 2009+? .... I really want this mod.

No, I searched and they do not offer this for the 7-speed autos. No one else does at this time.

I know! You can get a minor case of whiplash under full power, no joke. So much fun! :jump:

:hypnotized: nice work man, everything really ties in together perfectly. I need a "Handy Andy" amigo and more dinero :D where can I get my hands on a set of brushed aluminum stereo knobs?
