Nice. Is it legal on IL to tint the windshield? I'd big time screwed here if I did that. Especially at 50%

I haven't had any issues, so yeah its legal. :-)


Andrew, welcome to the windshield tint club.. You added extras tint to your rears? Man, that's dark.. Looks good.

Ya, it does seem pretty dark, which I like. Not as extreme as 5% all around. The windscreen is only 50%, can't be that "bad" during the day and driving at night, I don't notice any differences. I hope the police don't notice it as often though.

No, I'm leaving tails as is. You should tint yours because they're red. :tongue (2):

Thanks Jonas. The hatch is a definite must. During the day you see right through it. Your car was what made me tint the front, haha.

Your FX is sitting a little high there! That gap is just hideous! Haha I have to rub it in cuz I know how particular your are with your baby!.this window of opportunity is sooo small!

I also looked at another '07 Autumn on Espresso. The interior looked amazingly upscale, I felt like I was looking at an Audi. You see pictures of it and it looks nice, but once you see it in person, its just beautiful to look at. If the lower panels were a matching espresso and the headliner was black, then I'd be all over the espresso too. I love the brick though, as I'm huge on two-tone interiors.

LoL yes it is riding high, once I get my coils back, I'm going to install them asap. I was so used to my old setup, I swear I feel like I'm going to have a roll over accident with stock suspension. You better start looking at new wheels, because.... :tongue (2):
 
Tint, espcially tinting the front windows and windshield makes such a big difference in car appearance it's ridiculous.

I never really noticed before but car commercials do it all the time...I didn't notice until I finally tinted my windshield.

Here is ONE example of a current commecial doing it to show how much nicer the car looks all tinted:

commercial starts off tinted while driving....
then untinted at 20 seconds to show the person easily through the window....
then tinted again
then untinted in the dealership
then tinted outside the dealership

I've seen many other commercials do this and it does make a big difference in appearance.
 
I missed this thread! I'm so jelly its ridiculous. I'm still waiting for my local 45 to pop up. Hopefully when it does ill be able to afford it... :p

The new FX looks great. Its a different color than your 35, right? It looks a little darker. Congrats. :thumbup:
