2012 Infiniti FX (Pics and Info)

The 2012s have a more cohesive look than the 2009-2011s in my opinion. The front is an improvement on what made the 09-11s look incomplete. The only thing I don't like is the chrome trim around the fog lights, and the fan wheels on that LE look dumb.

I was maybe thinking of a 2012 FX, but after seeing the pics of the new one, I will be keeping my 09 FX

dont get me wrong, i like the new 2012 front end, I just can't take away my 2009 cooled/heated front seats and quilted leather (2012 has them in the deluxe touring package though)

I really like the new facelift models, but wish they did a little better on the bumper. Instead of the ring around the foglights, maybe like a chrome strip across the bumper or something similar to the facelifted 2012 G sedans.

The bumper can easily be fixed with the aero front spoiler. But I still hate the puffy cheeked face look on the new model.
Definitely makes me hold off getting a new one next year.

What don't you like about the 2012s that you do like about the 2009s?
It's just as Ian said, I don't like the shape on each side of the grill. It reminds me of puffy cheeks.

I don't mind the 2012's at all. But I still really like the wavy grill of the 09-011's.

im looking to get a 2012 fx50. for the other years of the 2nd gen did u have to pick between sport or tech package? cause i want the paddle shifters but the tech seems really cool? does anyone know a way to get both?

I think I know where this question is coming from. I too was confused when I was playing around with configurations for the 2012 on Infiniti's page. It didn't let you pick both just one or the other. I believe this is just a bug in their software. At least I hope so or it would be a shame if you cannot pick both.

Thanks guys im hoping it is an error. Really all i want from the sports package is the paddle shifters. and sports and tech is what makes an fx an fx

I like the 2012's, I am sure if somebody wanted a 2012 but didn't want the front...somebody would be willing to do a front end swap with them. I think I will wait till the 3rd Gen comes out.
