Bought an '06 FX45 today, think I got a deal on a clean ride

try AAA Insurance. I pay less than that per 6 months for 2 cars (FX45 and BMW).

that's what i have for everything..... +++1

same here=) I switched from Geico!

I have their gold membership or whatever that allows a 100 mile tow -- that in it self is totally worth it.

Especially since you drive as much as I do.

Mercury is cheaper than AAA for me, but you gotta have a good record

Somebody brought up the front end looks different than it should, but I brought up stock photos from edmunds, etc. and for the 2006 it looks spot on to me. Am I missing something?

The headlights and grille should be the darker sport edition (shiny gunmetal color). It might be the lighting, but your headlights and grille look silver chrome. Also, service.pdf says something about replacement of a headlight. Your tail lights are sport, clear with gunmetal chrome.

Thanks guys. Any other thoughts on the service records at beeez.com/service.PDF ?

I'll need to track down some wireless headphones on eBay I guess, unless someone knows a better source.

seems like someone's gonna run to that dealer n ask all kinds of questions on behalf of Speedster...Welcome btw

No man.. that internet salesman has been INCREDIBLE, much better than I could hope for than a private party.. I ask for Infiniti service records and BOOOM in my email 15 minutes later. I ask him to check out the hitch and BOOOM 10 minutes later a couple pictures. I even asked him for a carfax for the dealer and yeah you guessed it. (BOOM). I've asked him so many questions, etc., and he has just been fantastic. No wonder he has 100% feedback rating on eBay and sells nothing but high ticket items, and 2/3 of what he sells he ships.

congrats on your find. I think you'll really enjoy your 45. Your car has the factory run flat package (no spare tire storage area) Some folks claim that the run flats are noisy, but I am happy with my Bridgestone RFT's (OEM) I was lucky & the dumba$$ deal closer at the Infiniti dealer offered me "life time replacement" tire package for $750.00. I jumped on it.. They crapped when I showed up for new tires & they seen the price.

Thank you I really appreciate the offer. I offered $50 on another forum site to anyone who was willing to go check it out in person. But at this point, the deal is done.. the wire transfer is going through in the a.m. and the paperwork will be on salesman's desk by noon.

And... 10 posts so I have the noob shackles off for posting links/images, etc.

Hey nice ride, I love your set-up...plus you have the wheels I always wanted. Congrats on the purchase, you'll definitely enjoy it.

P.S: if u decide to get different wheels and want to get rid of the stock, let me know.

Thanks for the kind words guys, you are making me excited.

I heard from the hitch manufacturing company and it is a Class 3 hitch 2x2" receiver rated for 3500lbs, 350lbs tongue. That's great news.

Ordered my first mod! Black weathertech mats ($167 shipped from Amazon). I figured since we'd be launching the boat, etc., with this now I didn't want to be tracking sand and water in. Also order receiver cover, wireless headphones for the DVD, and an AC inverter (always wanted one of those anyhow).

congrats man that's a great price on the 45. i hope you realize not everything gets reported to carcheck and carfax, you shouldn't depend on that alone.
