I'd like some opinion of other members. My chrome grille is showing some scuffs, scratches and such and upclise simply doesn't look "clean". I'm thinking of painting it black. Now the question is, would it look better in matt finish or glossy?
What do you think?
Headlights are painted matte black.

Thanks

Hey Get Lucki,
Just a thought...but I always loved the copper color, it was a copper fx that made me want the car. I ended up buying black because of the packages, etc. But what if you color coded the grill copper and just made the emblem black? i think that would look sikk!!

I used spray on bedliner-it looks matteish but you can make it shiny with Tire Shine products. Super easy-I barely even had to sand it-1-2 minutes at the most

I go with glossy black. I think body color the grille is over doing it. Just my opinion.

I'm gonna photoshop this idea, not sure if that's not too much copper for the car:) But definitely something different:biggrin:

I just found one on line with the black grille, I liked the way it looked. Thanks Andy:tup:

Bro...send me the pic once you photoshop it. I think it would look different and unique. I color coded mine...but my car is black already lol

save the oem grill, and buy badgless ebay grill, or save the grill and plasti dip (flat black) its reversible.

That's what I think I will try tomorrow. Have some CF left from my interior project will try that first.

Also thinking of SS Grille, found a good deal on it, and since they are in Costa Mesa I can drive down and pick it up.

Do gloss black. Can't go wrong there. Personally I never liked the SS grille on any cars. Much less an fx
