Dash Bubbling Poll

Curious what our results are. I have no bubbles on my '05 . . . but I do have a garage queen. That's probably why

2006, no bubbles, always parked indoors

2006, started bubbling about 3 months ago. Dealer replaced the dash

I've seen the replacemnt dash. Compares to 400 grit wet/sand paper.

I got a 04, no major bubbles, its been exposed under the sun more than couple of years, only had 2bubbles on the edge of a ac vent (barely noticeable) also my passenger airbag unit kind of bulged out.. The new dash is rough and not smooth, i wonder if the sun will burn out the texture..

Get a syringe and needle and push some air here and there. That should create bubbles. :nerd (2):

Had my 05 dash replaced under warranty. Its just the same as before no difference.

2003 FX. I didn't have bubbles but I had a long hairline crack. Was replaced under warranty.

2008 FX just started to bubble this month, called the dealer and they said bring it in, its covered under warranty. Waiting for my next oil change to schedule the replacement dash...

Just curious, once its replaced, does the problem ever come back?

I don't think anyone has had it long enough after the replacement to see if will come back. Everyone keeping their fingers crossed!

07 and no bubbles yet. Parked in my garage allot and always mequire shine the dash with uv protection but when outdoors i use the sun shades. Also have dark tints, which i think plays a role to depending on the angle of the sun.

Mine just started bubbling this year. They're still pretty small, but it is getting a little worse so I will take it in soon. Car is always parked indoors at home and in a covered parking garage during the day. I live in GA, so the heat gets pretty bad.

about 10-15 small bubbles on the dash directly above the center console screen. hasn't gotten worst. it used to sit in the garage but now sits under the shade. also, doesn't see the sun more, drive about 50 miles a week, drive my wife's car more now. the dash however looks more sanded down for some reason, like there's no shine to it...even after cleaning it with interior detailer.

06 here and mine started bubbling this past year. Will they replace the dash even if the car is out of warranty or am i fresh out of luck?
