Black 'n Chrome :: 2003 Infiniti FX35 AWD

Andy your FX still stands out even after de-modding. Anyone who appreciates cars and is somewhat into customization will appreciate what is done to it. It was your FX that got me inspired and hooked on the mod train:). Hopefully it will go to a good home

It's good to see her back together, even if it's minus a few parts that have been transplanted to mine... :)

Nice Andy. Still plenty of mods left on this car. Blacked out headlights, grille,reflectors,tails, skid plate, tweeters, nice wheels, window tint, rear monitor, painted lowers carbon fiber accents...mm what else???:smile (2):
Zebra, you counted them all! :smile (2):
Mods left under the hood: UR Undersize pulley sets and high output alternator and power cable and RCA cable for after market amp installation.
Oh forgot about the Transgo shift kit. :smile (2):

Yeah, pretty much back to stock. Left the Transgo shift kit, UR underdrive pulley set, high output alternator, 3M DiNoc CF interior, aftermarket 12" flip down dvd player, blackout headlights and taillights, front chrome skid plate.

Do the steering wheel control panels just pop right off the steering wheel? I'm looking to do a similar mod and was curious how much of a pain this is? I know the door handles and the center console are relatively easy - just pop and pull correct?
thanks

No, you have to take the steering wheel apart to properly get the two aluminum pieces off.

Here are some pictures when I took mine apart:

The panel is held down by screw as in this picture. You have remove the outer bottom cover to get to the screw.

Thank you for the detailed response. I'd love to do this, but not sure I trust myself with removing the steering wheel ... guess I'll just skip those steering wheel pieces.
Much appreciated

A few guys on here wrap it without taking it apart turns out good too. I would try it. It will be an eye sore if you wrap all the aluminum pieces already. :smile (2):
