Not sure if you guys also picked up the license plate: I work for Ford / I drive a Ford and also the UAW stamp if you look closely.
I see these stickers and/or license plate holders all the time around here, although the sissy sticker I thought was uncalled for. Haven't seen that one before. Just shows how ignorant they are.
It's too bad I didn't know the Edge's are built in Ontario, I saw the woman who go in the car. If I knew a head of time, I would have said something probably.
It's the unions that promote this heavily to the workers, not really the workers themselves. All the UAW stations around here have large signs on the outside no foreign vehicles permitted on property. You'll only see these kind of attitudes when they are heavily pro union.
Comment about Ford reliability: recent studies have shown though that Ford is leading the way with reliability ever since Alan Mulally got in. Here is the most recent source I believe:

You guys know about Chrysler and the new Jeep Grand Cherokee. I remember reading almost a year ago how they were able to get rid of the unions or something and basically cut workers pay in a 1/4 or something specifically for building the new Jeep. My first instinct was I wonder what the quality will be like on these after a few years.
I was at the Ford F-150 plant a few years back and was on the testing deck. One F-150 got pulled to the sign because it didn't pass inspection since one of the fog lights was out. The technician kept hitting the bumper to get the light to turn back on, didn't, and then finally replaced the bumper light. Every time I see a new white F-150, I joke wondering if it was that one.
