Widebody Stealth FX v3.0

Bert, any chance this will be done before I leave town at the end of the month? I'm back town til the 29th, I would LOVE to photograph it!!!

Friend of mine has an Audi RS4 painted in the new Audi Color Espresso Brown also from the A8 model.
It is very dark brown...almost black in the evening but shows itself best in the direct sunlight.....i love it...!!
I think these brown colors are the new trend as i see a lot of new volkswagens here also in brown color lately.
Could be something different but still dark......

Ken... It might be done by then... and for sure brotha.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions....

Here is just an idea what direction I want to take... It's not to scale but I have made more changes...

Those fangs hanging down? I hope not...

With the mesh work up front, you'll have plenty of air flow.. especially for a large front mount intercooler and some oil coolers for FI.

No fangs... Just messing with the angles...

and yes... big mouth for good sized Intercooler....

Guys:
An interesting trend in the industry is flat colors. Lambo and MB have special editions with this flat black color and they are awesome. Ever considered that?

I did at one point... if you look at our site banner you will see Rookies set up in flat black.

I was thinking about it but since I drive it every day I would kill the paint.

I took this picture at the Vancouver Auto Show in April...

the new AMG CLS63 in matte grey... I believe there was also a SLS in this color too. I think it'd look on some cars, but I don't think so on yours

Silver, pearl white and black I have seen in a flat finish from Benz, they are simply sprayed with a flat drying clear coat or use an flat additive in the clear. Very cool, but you can never wax or buff it cause it would get shiney. Another problem is you only got one shot at painting it. Even in a downdraft spray booth, you still can get dust nibs or debris in the paint. At the shop I wetsand and polish these out after it cures. With the flat clear it pretty much has to be perfect the first time or you gotta live with it, PITA if you ask me. I don't want anything to do with these colors. I'm dreading the day one comes in damaged. I might actually refuse to do it. It's really that bad...

Stick with the BLK MET. Very clean, Throw in a candy transglucent mid coat, or just use some to paint a ghost infiniti halo across the side or hood before it gets cleared ... Absolute sex on crack!

I was just thinking where the heck have I seen that...oh yeah cayennes....

If you are going this route, I would also do the infiniti grill same mesh to match and in the same process get ride of the solid piece surrounding it to match the rest of the look.
