2006 DG/Black FX35 - Painted Lowers

I've had this car for over a year now. I wanted a nice daily driver to replace my modded E36 M3 and the FX hasn't let me down.

Its an AWD with every option except chrome on the 20's and rear entertainment. Purchased with 92k and now has 110k on it and runs great with no issues.

I've added the z-tube, stillen intake, 25mm spacers, hks exhaust, and tinted the windows 20% on the sides and 5% in the rear. Black Texas plate and painted lowers to make it a little cleaner.

I'm waiting on time to install a bunch of other parts but who knows when that will happen. Since stuff isn't breaking constantly as was the case with my M3, I haven't been motivated to change anything out.

The lowers look good painted to match, where in houston did you have it done? Also do you work at a shop on perry and 1960 because that fx looks so familiar.

I had it done at rf customs in Spring. The paint job has held up pretty well so far. they also resprayed and blended the hood since it was purchased with high mileage.

I dont spend much time in houston these days, I just moved to Austin..

Funny thing is i saw a DG with painted lowers my first day here!! Never saw a painted fx in person before that and it had to be the same color in my new town!

No kidding.. It looks better and is easier to keep clean than the black plastic. I always thought black plastic trim looked unfinished and cheap. If black means sport, then PAINT the trim black!

My buddy owns the Z and also owns the G35S on H&r Race in the garage.

Ill throw some pics of his 350 up later.. Full vertex, tein coils, twin turbo insane WHP.. JTRAN built! stomps everything. EVERYTHING!

HA! I forgot.. his MOM has an identical car to mine minus the paint. too much nissan.
