Please issue the refund back to me since I've sent my bulb back on Jun 18. But I know I wouldn't hear from you for another week and a half the earliest and then I will need to post again asking for my refund...

Considering that, over the past months, JLC has been slow to respond... or even make a decision... I think the refund should be issued first. I am not okay will shipping the bulbs back to you guys and then waiting 2 months to get my money back. Yes this has been troublesome for both parties... but FX owners weren't the ones who manufactured an inferior product. We haven't been incompetent throughout this whole process. We have been patient enough. Send us the refund first... then we send the bulbs back.

The SAGA CONTINUES ARGGGGGG!!!!!!

I recieved my replacement bulbs and the first thing I noticed when I opened the pretty new box was a total lack of quality control. See pix of pin condition and location on NEW Bulbs.

After repositioning the pin wires correctly and installing the NEW bulbs one lasted exactly 2 minutes before it started flickering and the other one just out and out quit after 4 minutes.

JLC Lighting I will be sending this JUNK back AGAIN and please refund the total cost of the bulbs as well as the shipping.

AND IN CLOSING I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM JLC LIGHTING!!!!!!:banghead::tdown::tdown:

Wow mtn. It almost looks like you got bulbs another member might have returned. That sucks. Mine are still working. But the longest they've been on was like 10min.

I have had mine on for awhile, and noticed no issues. I feel it's only a matter of time though.

One thing I noticed about the OE DTRL bulbs was that they are a dual filament bulb 5w/20w and only the 5w filament was being used so I bent the outer wires on the OE bulbs to the center slots and now both filaments are lit. Not as bright as the LEDs were but much brighter than before. Guess this will have to do till I can find suitable replacements.

In terms of good bulbs i can think of two places. (Not affiliated with either)

1) V-LEDs have yet to fail me and im consistently impressed by their products. Additionally just google search online for coupon codes as they are always floating around. Just check user reviews and pictures prior to purchase to make sure you find the one you like:

2) Oneighty Custom i believe manufacture their own bulbs. I have interior dome LEDs from them and they work great and are nice and bright... they are a vendor here.

eJay--Youv'e had yours in since the 25th are they still working OK?

... Not surprisingly no.. The light output is so faint that it's even hard to notice that they're on. They just look like two little tiny dots EVEN AT NIGHT TIME. Nothing like how it used to be at first :mad.:

Oh so the old ones were brighter? I noticed mine just look like two dots also, but I figured that's just how they were since it's one LED chip facing forward.

Thats what I thought too:tdown:

That makes me think even more that I was sent some of the old bulbs because they seemed just as bright as before.:bur2:

Hmmm that's not a bad idea I might try that out tomorrow.

Sent from my Android

I tried them out last night and they are actually pretty bright with both OE filaments on. 100% better than just the 5w filament.

Any chance they are producing more heat, or might burn out faster with both filaments lit up? Maybe the dual filament set up is best for turn signals where it's bright, but not on all the time.

Would just hate for you to end up with one flickering bulb and one burned out bulb.

My replacement seem to be as bright as thE old ones. It's one bright dot.

Not near as hot as the LED's after all your only combining 5w and 20w for a total of 25watts.

I already sent my old bulbs back, or I would compare the two. Can't remember if I ever got the old ones to light up anyway though.
