Sorry to hear guys.... stick to hi-powered v-leds. They are have been very reliable so far. 921 hi-powered bulb I installed on my M35 is blindingly bright even through my vinyled tails. (I also paid almost double what you guys are paying for CREE). I guess you get what you paid for...

Sign x2. They do look very nice when they don't flicker or turn on and off

At this point I'm considering my $70 an investment in JLC's R&D. I'm not down with flickering or a way dimmer bulb. Hopefully they can get it figured out before I need my money back...

I'm in!! The LED's I was using only lasted 3 months. Got tired of replacing them and had to buy cheapo's for now. But if these last I'm in.

[font=calibri, verdana, helvetica, arial]yo - some of us have tried the cree back up led bulbs as dtrl lights in the front turn signal position. First attempts were bright and looked very nice but the bulbs were meant for intermittent use as back up bulbs and over a short period of time they would lose intensity and or burn out. Jlc has been testing new cree led configurations for durabilty and they have dialed in a set that they say will take the strain of constant on use (as in a dtrl application)

my response and vid from jlc today -

hey lance,

sorry to have taken so long to get back to you on the pictures and videos.

We finally stabilized the drl light to stay consistently on without having any burning out issue. Here is a link to the video.

check it out and let me know your inputs. If you would like to put a group buy together with your forum guys and gals, let me know and i’ll work out a deal with you and my upper managers. Thanks!

i have asked for a price on ten sets or more

Go to v-leds.com.... Based on what I see, I'd stay away from them for now.

^You might want to actually read through more than just the first post.

 Maybe he wants to buy mine.

I got both DTRL and Reverse. When send my replacements... that have the same brightness as originals... and that do not flicker, please include a shipping label for me to return the first batch. Thanks

Well one of my bulbs died completely. Still waiting for my return label. Where is JLC anyway? They havent responded in a while

Hey guys,

Since we are having quite some trouble with the bulbs that I already sent out, I spoke with the manager and we would like to request a call back for the bulbs that are currently sent out.

In terms of refunds, we will refund those that want their money back and as well as the postage paid to return the item. (please only return it via first class with delivery confirmation) that way it can save us both money! appreciate it guys!

For the users that want us to send the working ones back to them please let me know. We should be having the FX35 we were testing the new bulbs on back on Wednesday for a final evaluation of the new bulb.

Sorry for all the problems caused on this GB. I do put the blame on myself because we tested the 9005/9006 bulbs on the TL but never tested the 7440 one on FX or any cars with DTRL. And I am very sorry for the inconveniences being caused here by me. My apologies IS!
