There was a question that came up on Acurazine about the appropriateness/applicability of CREE LEDs for use as DRLs. As they are uni-directional (i.e., front firing) LEDs, it will be almost impossible to see anything other than a faint sliver of light being emitted from the DRLs in daylight conditions. If they are anything like the CREE reverse lights, it needs to be dark to truly appreciate their brightness - but at night, I have bi-xenon headlights, so... Wouldn't something with many LEDs pointing in several different directions - and therfore reflecting off of the lens and backing - be more appropriate?
 
It's more than a faint silver daylight. They're pretty bright during the day too

Sorry guys, yesterday was my day off. And didn't a chance to reply to some of you guys.

Anyhow, I am still waiting for a FedEx international sales rep to send the rates. Apparently Domestic and International are two different departments.

As for the DRL Module, here is the picture to our plug and play kit.

The cost of the entire kit is $67 ($32 Light Bulbs and $35 for the module). The perks for using our kit is:
- No worries for burning wires as out kit is enclosed with a heavy duty aluminum casing. Again this module does get really hot, so adequate protection is recommended.
- Our design also includes a fuse kit on it, so if anything burns or pops, it will kill the fuse first. That way no damage is done to the car's original wires.
- This kit is for a 2007-2009 TL only.

Might be dumb question, but Can these bulbs be used for a 2001 MDX? Plug & play?
The bulb sizes seem familiar

I believe it will work if its the same part number. I am not sure about any on board computers.

I believe for the 2006 TL, there is no existing Daytime Running Lights. So you would not need a module.
