Weathertech window visors/deflectors

I've more or less given up on these. I wish they were available.

Has anybody try to fit the 1st gen deflectors on a 2nd gen would it work??

Sent from my iPad
I would think weather tech would have tried that, but you never know. I sure wish they were available.

Well I just sent in another product request to Weathertech for 2nd Gen side Vent Visors.

They tell you that it's in production and will likely take two months, AGAIN?

I just sent this one and so far I just received a confirmation of my Product Request, and a thank you. They mustn't get many requests otherwise you would think they would carry them. Too bad we couldn't get like most 2nd Gen owners on this site requesting them, instead of a handful of requests.

Maybe we should ask the Russian guy on here if he can custom make them for a group buy. He did make mine for me they're just not in channel like everybody wants but he did a good job and I'm happy with them. I believe it was skyruller it's been a while

Yes, I talked to him before about them and he only carried the stick on visors and I really wanted the in channel visors.
Did you just get them for your front doors?

Thanks, I forgot you had the pic on this thread, I checked your garage and they were just on the front.

A few months ago I started using 3D scanner for making matrices. If anyone is interested I can make a 3D model of the deflector in-channal. If you have the technology of production. I can contact the manufacturer with whom I WORK and make this model, but it is necessary to prepay 100 models and the matrix will remain with the manufacturer, this preliminary information. There are also difficulties: acrylic. The manufacturer uses to 2 mm acrylic. In the channel of 1-1.5 mm. In Russia such acrylic hard to find. Probably will not even engage. You can contact the WeatherTech and invite them to the 3D model, and they do this quickly. Need a CNC router that will engrave the prototype matrix and make you model
