Very cool! Looking forward to pics. I did a smaller trip a couple years ago, but didn't do as good of a job taking pics as I wanted. Although with the route we took, there wasn't much to take pics of anyway.

Nice! Subscribed... Have a fun and most importantly safe trip Wayne! Living the good life buddy! :smile (2):

looks like an exciting trip! do you have people you know and stay in each of those locations?

how much of the trip does your wife drive?

Wayne, you should invest in a GPS data logger...such as one of these:
http://www.semsons.com/datalogger.html

One of my best friends from college (who I majored computer engineering with a U of M Ann Arbor) ran across America last summer and used one. You can see every single road he's taken and did blogs as he went on the trip, where he stayed etc....pretty exciting because he had followers! He stayed at my house one of the nights! :)

That data logger looks awesomet, but it's a bit late to get one now for the trip.

We are staying at a few friends places along the way and we booked at a couple nice resorts that we know we would like to stay at, the rest we are playing it by ear. We have also planned on attending a G35 Meet with a bunch of internet friends in Alberta on June 18th. Some of them will show us around the area while we are there.
We will also give you and Kim a shout when we are staying at Karen's Uncles near your place in July.

Hey Wayne, how about a detour to Chicago on your way to Gary Indiana. We would love to meet up and say hello. Have a safe trip.

Thanks for the invite Andy, I'll have to talk to my partner about it. Hey I just edited my post I misread your post. We could possibly meet up in Chicago. It all depends on our timing.

Sound like fun. Hey you'll be in Spokane. Might as well drive a bit west to Seattle and we can plan our NW meet around the time you'll be here.

Cool, let us know if you do can swing by Chicago on your way.

Sounds like a load of fun Wayne. looking at your destinations/stopping points tho' it seems like you left out Seattle.....

Hi folks sorry I have not reported on this post. We have been so busy on the road, meeting old friends and new ones. We have covered a lot of ground so far, seen some neat places, and had some very close calls on flooded roads.

So far we have been to:
Started in Kincardine, Ontario
Mackinaw City, Michigan
Ashland, Wisconsin
Grand Forks, North Dakota
Weyburn, Saskatchewan
Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
Swift Current, Saskatchewan
Our next stop is Medicine Hat, Alberta

I have only seen two FXs on the trip. We saw a 1st Gen FX when we were coming out of the Texas Roadhouse in North Dakota, it had Manitoba plates. The other FX was a 2nd Gen on the Trans Canada highway in Saskatchewan.

We have had lots of compliments about our FX. One day we even saw some people taking pictures of it. This morning I was loading the FX up at 7:30AM and a fellow came up and was asking me all about it. He loved the front end (the spoiler rocks:cool:)

I will post a more detailed report with pics later when I have more time.

Well the trip is going fantastic, so far the only problem is a rock chip in my front windshield, something to get fixed when I return home.

I am not quite halfway through the trip and I have put on 5,500 kms (3,400 miles) so far.

What a fantastic time, awesome scenery and great people. Tomorrow I am meeting with about a dozen other Infiniti owners in Red Deer Alberta , then we all are going on a cruise.

I thought I would post a few teaser pics for now
