Factory rear dvd question

It seems that my factory rear dvd player does not play burn dvd's. Is there anyway where i can make it work with burns dvd's?

Most likely compatibility issues with the media. Try a different disc brand. When I used to burn a lot of dvd's, 'Ridata DVD-R' brand usually had the most success in all players.

i tried other disks and it seems that all the burn dvd's does not work with the factory dvd player..

Maybe others can chime in. I don't have the oem dvd player in the FX but in all the other vehicles I had with the factory dvd players I had no issues with the ridata dvd-r discs. Even my alpine system in the fx plays burnt discs fine.

I use window dvd maker, dvd-R and it work no problem. its not dvd copy. it was movie
that I download and burn as dvd format to play on regular dvd player. it seem to work fine for me.

Maybe you should try burning the DVDs at a slower speed. Also, the media brand does matter. Here is another vote for Ridata.

Verbatim DVD-R seem to be the best and most reliable on the market. They're a bit expensive, but well worth it!
